The RBV-12-C4-SM-Rib is a 12-inch Round Back Static Roof Vent that’s sub-base is designed specifically for R-Panel metal roofing systems such as SM-Rib, Tuff Rib, and Master Rib panels. Each 12-inch static vent has a 16” x 24” flange or sub-base. The sub-base is engineered to integrate seamlessly with metal roofs, allowing for the proper fit and weather protection.

This model features a 4-inch tall collar, which provides clearance between the roof and the internal louvers of the vent above for optimal airflow.

With 113 square inches of net free area (NFA), each vent can effectively ventilate up to 470 square feet of attic space when using the 1/300 ventilation rule.

Where to install:

The RBV-12-C4-SM-Rib is ideal for metal roofs with a pitch of 2/12 or greater. The upper portion of the vents' sub-base goes under the roof's ridge cap. This places the vent at the top of the roof, the ideal location for exhausting rising hot air and moisture effectively across all climate zones.
